Digital industries are responsible for 4% of global emissions, with that number expected to rise to 6% by 2025. [manifesto](https://manifesto.co.uk/ "Manifesto") sees this as a call to action to help organizations reduce their digital carbon footprint through ethical design standards. Partnering with The Climate Group, they created a checklist website that serves as an emissions reduction guide. Branching forth, the ongoing partnership between manifesto and Acquia has been able to help their customer, Blue Cross for Pets, reduce emissions by 76%.
